  8. Here's the spec so far for the BSS accelerator:-

  18. The user chooses an oscilator which suits them / their machine best
  19. and plugs it into the board. The rest is software controlled. It is
  20. also software switchable back to a 16Mhz Falcon. We may support several
  21. oscillators on the board at once, but the min spec is for a single
  22. interchangable one. The aim is LOW PRICE!

  24. The main goal is to achieve the following min spec:

  27. CPU:    24
  28. FPU:    48
  29. DSP:    48
  30. Videl:    48

  32. In order to achieve 640x480 VGA truecolour cheaply.

  34. The price is set at under 30 UK pounds for current owners of
  35. BSS software, and also for purchasers of the future Apex 3.

  37. I think the price will be 10 or 20 pounds more for non BSS
  38. customers. I'm not sure of the exact details yet.
